Demo archeology.
A friend reminded me of this demo tune called “Drifting Away.” He said his wife was listening to his itunes library and she actually got up to see who it was. Of course, that could have been because she was wondering who the hell wasted three minutes of my life with this? — though I’m assured otherwise. I don’t remember why I never made this into a finished track* (would have been better off with a click instead of those drums) but I think this must have been around the time I got the Lindert guitar and set it up for slide, which begat Sneaking Feeling, in which many of these lyrics found a new home. I have a half a mind to resurrect this somehow. (oops linked fixed now)

New tune — “Unconditional”
Here’s the status of the latest tune I’ve been working on. It now has lyrics, though I haven’t done anything else to it musically. I kind of went about this one backasswards, laying on guitar bits before I had any lyrics. Consequently, the phrasing of the vocals had to be adjusted, but I’m not sure that’s a bad thing. I do know this tune should probably have a singer. I also think it could be a duet.
