Petition to have Rep. Henry Waxman, as Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, hold hearings on the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in time for citizens to consider the results of said hearings when voting in the ‘08 presidential election.

Given that we’ve suffered the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, we feel the parties responsible for the failure must be brought to light so that we can prevent recurrence and avoid further empowering those responsible.
