It’s time again for a tune association test.
Okay, I’m fairly sure this tune isn’t about cheese, despite my previous assertion. Of course, that begs the question: what might it be about? Maybe it’s not about anything. Maybe it doesn’t want lyrics, but I think it does. As before I’m open to all opinions, impressions etc. on where this one should go. That can include anything from instrumentation suggestions to vocal style to mix matters, but bear in mind this isn’t even a mix, and the choice of instrumentation here is just an experiment. Generally I play parts all the way through a song and cut them out if they fight each other or the vocals. Accordian or mandolin didn’t sound bad in parts in place of some of what’s there now. The drums will definitely change. Drives me crazy when the ride cymbal stops.
If anything comes to mind upon listening, please share. Otherwise this song might be about something like OCD, rebates, gangs, cottonelle bath tissue, class action suits, spices, porches…
