Interstate dining with Harry.
Harry sent me an email explaining that he’s preparing “Cannellini in a flask,” and he included the recipe, which states:
This is a really fun recipe and the best part, as with chicken in clay or fish in a bag, is checking out the reaction from your guests when you bring the whole flask to the table.
This exchange ensued, and is representative of our working relationship for ten years.
FRED: Chicken in clay? Fish in a bag? I’m trying ham in a carry-on today.
HARRY: are you flying somewhere?
