An historic moment in blogging history: Mahmoud beats Britney
If you’ve studied the current technorati chart comparison (sidebar) over the last several months, you know the Britney Spears always generated more blog mentions than Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Admittedly, it’s a choice in the same category in one sense — which trainwreck to focus on — but it always stunned me that Britney routinely drew 20 or 30 times more mentions than Mahmoud. After all, Mahmoud wants to go nuclear while Britney just wants, um, to know what she wants, I suspect.
Anyway, today I looked at the chart (which might be yesterday’s data) and for the first time since I put up this comparison, Mahmoud beat Britney!
Way to go Team Mahmoud!
